Requirements

  1. Router for routing purposes
  2. Switch with multiple VLANs
  3. End hosts in each VLAN to test routing

First, enable the router interface link to up

Then change the interface mode to trunk and enter the allowed VLANs which will be created later

Create VLANs and name them

Assign VLANs to the respective interfaces

Verify interfaces & VLANs are correctly assigned

Create a sub-interface for VLAN 10 and 20 and assign the gateway IP of each network, respectively.

PCs should be able to ping each other now
